CO-evolution and Self-organization in Dynamic Networks

The main topic of our group is the design and implementation of algorithmic tools to support the analysis of self-organized dynamical networks. One major goal is the development of network visualization methods. The main topic of the COSIN project is to develop a series of theoretical, graphical, analytical and computational tools to describe the complex behaviour of networks.

We provide a collection of methods and techniques used in network visualization especially for large graphs and networks. As a long-term research project, we develop models and algorithms to integrate and advance the analysis and visualization of social networks. visone is a software tool intended for research and teaching in social network analysis. It is specifically designed to allow experts and novices alike to apply innovative and advanced visual methods with ease and accuracy.
